Currently, this organization has many projects in Water Supply and Sanitation in many Provinces of Afghanistan, and intended to build the capacity of National and International NGOs in CLTS, SLTS and PHAST. SSDA is inviting applications from qualified and suitable male and female Afghan candidates for the position of Program Manager. Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Program Manager is responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
1. Thoroughly organizing and managing SSDA offices including Kabul office
2. Developing new and innovative approaches and ideas, their presentations and implementation
3. Developing proposals, concept papers on new ideas and approaches for SSDA
4. Reporting and presenting the new approaches and ideas to Deputy Director, and Managing director;
5. Holding meetings with all stakeholders, line ministries and donors regarding the different matters of the fund raising, budgeting,
6. Provide direct support and on going supervision and managerial support to provincial Offices
6: Working closely with all SSDA's departments to coordinate each department activities with each other
7. Coordinating and sharing all departments progress with Deputy Director, and Managing Director of SSDA
8. Helping and advising Office Manager, HR Officer, Logistic Officer in their daily activities and tasks
9. Supervising and Mentoring SSDA's workshops and seminars both at national and provincial level
10. Planning and monitoring implementation of SSDA Programs and campaigns both at national and provincial level
11. Providing written and oral translation and report writing for program staff, relevant Stakeholders and donors if needed
12. Making sure that the SSDA's all activities and tasks are in line with the written policies and procedures; and advising recommendations if needed;
13. Writing professional and quality E-mails to all SSDA's offices and relevant stakeholders
14. Developing Job descriptions, TORs, Offer Letters, for the relevant posts
15. Performing other duties when assigned
EDUCATION:
1. University Degree in Business Administration, finance, social sciences or any degree
2. Minimum 5-7 years experience in similar capacity
3. Good computer skills (MS. Excel, MS. Word, MS. Power Point)
4. A good team player
5. Good writing Skills in English, Dari and Pashtu
6. Fluent in English, Dari and/or Pashtu
7. Fluent in English, Dari and/or Pashtu
8. Good Internet Skills (Downloads, Uploads, E-mail correspondence)
