Developing job description for the interns.
Managing orientation program for all the recruited interns in all over the country through NDI regional offices
Managing the internship program in all over the country
Manage day-to-day internship program activities and planning, monitoring interns’ activities and ensuring that program procedures are followed.
Supervise and manage all the activities relevant to the internship program on regular bases.
Organize Kabul & Provincial based Capacity Development Programs for interns
Organize Kabul & Provincial based lunch series meetings for interns with National and International Political and key figures
Preparing overall monthly forecasts, reports (Monthly & Quarterly) on the programs activities
Collaborate with regional managers to run the internship program accordingly
Receive and review of reports from the regional managers and all the interns on regular bases
Prepare regular narrative reports on internship activities for the NDI main office in WDC
Contributing technical and cultural input and expertise into all program materials, trainings, reports and other activities
Manage all program expenses, budget tracking and projections, and accounting/reconciliations
Developing capacity development materials for the interns
Provide administrative support for program activities as necessary
Taking travel to all the provinces to ensure the program roles and procedures are followed
1.Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in human services, education, or other related field appropriate to the responsibilities of the position.
2.Experience in working with youth organizations, political parties, Sub National Governance, civil society organizations, government institutions and election related institutions is a must.
3.5+ years in experience in project/program management.
4.Supervisory experience at a non-profit with staff, budgets, contracts and event or program facilitation; experience working with youth.
5.Excellent communication skills, experience in communicating with executive management, strong project management skills and excellent interpersonal, organization, and negotiation skills.
6.Excellent level of project management skills in leading all aspects of project delivery including, initiation, planning, execution and close out.
7.Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment and takes initiative;
8.Superior oral and written communication skills, with a confident, mature, diplomatic and \"can-do\" approach
