• He/she supervises provincial staff and make sure that all the activities are going on according to work plan, if not, he/she is responsible to advice accordingly to get the activities done within the frame of work plan.
• . He/she reviews annual work plan as well as provincial activities action plan on monthly bases and reports to the ERDA head.
• . The incumbent prepares ToRs as per the need of the department and shares it with the ERDA head for final draft.
• He/she will maintain regular communications with both regional and provincial staff to get project status report, interventions that take place during implementation of projects whether it is social or technical and shares it with the ERDA head.
• He/she will communicate special tasks to ERDA provincial staff and will be accountable to follow it up with the relevant team or staff.
• Being the focal point to all ERDA projects, the incumbent will be responsible to fulfil all the provincial issues and needs which will be directed to central ERDA office.
• . As a growing section, the program support officer will update the master list of projects on regular bases or as he/she gets any updates from the provincial teams, in addition, he/she will maintain the filing of the projects both in hard and soft copies.
• The incumbent will also keep the track of budget and will also updates the project budget tracking sheet as he/she processes the projects’ instalments.
• He/she will coordinate provincial missions to ERDA central office staff with program associate.
• Collaboration with ERDA program Associate he/she will keep the track of all the engineering equipments that ERDA possesses.
• He/she will have to take an active part in brainstorming session to get better ways of project implementation with both ERDA central and provincial teams.
• The incumbent will help the ERDA head in preparing ERDA policies, guidelines and other related documents as needed.
• After the projects are designed, the program support officer will prepare Tri- partita contracts and will assist the PA to further processing it.
• The program support officer will prepare operational cost for all the ERDA trainings that will be held in ERDA, after getting a plan from the relevant training engineers.
• The program support officer will be also a focal point to internal ministerial issues regarding project procurements and as procedures he/she has to report back to ERDA head.
• Assisting program associate to provide timely administrative support to ERDA main office.
• As a focal point to all provincial offices the program support officer is need to visit the offices on a tentative plan.
• As a key member of ERDA team, the program support officer will have to attend internal and external meetings as requested by the ERDA head.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/DEGREES/SKILLS
• University Degree in business, Management, or related field
• 2-4 years professional work experience in the same field.
• Demonstrated track record of task execution and project implementation successes
• Demonstrated inter-personal and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and personalities
• High English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
Reporting:
The Program Support Officer will be directly reporting to ERDA head
