Internews – Afghanistan, Multi Location
Based in Kabul, the Project Manager position requires an individual with experience managing media and civil society programs in Afghanistan, including training and capacity building activities, who will work cooperatively with all Internews team members and partners located in Kabul and the provinces. This position may require travel to the provinces for meetings and supervision of activities. The candidate should have gender awareness and knowledge of M & E tools and techniques.
Manage the implementation of partner programs, coordinating delivery of strategic outcomes.
Monitor progress, identify and rectify any potential problems.
Provide progress reports as required.
Maintain productive communications and relationships with partners
Be the main liaison person with partners in Kabul and in provinces.
Work productively towards meeting the objectives of the project.
3 – 5 years experience managing programs
University degree
Demonstrated gender awareness skills
Fluent in Dari and English (and preferably Pashto)
Accurate computer literacy and internet skills
