The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the project activities and staff and will report to Executive Director of PAA as well he or she is responsible to report of donor agencies according to their policy and project plan.
Recruitment of Staff for the project
Training & preparing the staff for the project implementation.
Providing On-Time assistance to the staff upon their request.
Collecting updated project activities reports from concerned staff on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
Preparing and sending of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and final narrative reports of the project to the PAA’s Headquarter and Donor Agency as per requirements.
Counselling of project activities with the immediate supervisor upon any difficulties.
Arrangement of Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Monthly Meetings or sometimes immediate meetings (if required) and assuring the presence of all staff during the meeting for discussing the ongoing activities and finding solutions to the problems during the project implementation period with consultation from immediate supervisors and/or donor agency.
Preparation of project activities reports and giving presentations to the staff in meetings and/or to the concerned visiting party.
Checking of the activities reports of the sub-ordinates during the project and providing of correction/assistance if required; and preparing of consolidated reports from it and sending to concerned supervisor or donor agencies or upon any authentic request.
Defining criteria for the selection of master trainers for the project activities and selecting of trainers after the survey and providing the list to the immediate supervisor and/or donor agency.
Making the criteria for the selection of beneficiaries and discussing it with the immediate supervisor and/or donor agency for further consultation.
Making an authentic final decision in the selection of beneficiaries of the project activities with the consultation of immediate supervisor (if required) as per rules of the selection criteria.
Checking of the daily attendance record of the staff and taking necessary action (as per policy/rules of the organization) upon any defaulter or non-present staff member.
Accepting or rejecting the leaves (casual leave, medical leave, maternity leave, Hajj Leave, Annual Leave, Paternity Leave or any other leave) requested by the sub-ordinate staff as per office policy/rules and discussing/sharing the information with the immediate supervisor.
Scheduling/arranging and implementing the duties of a replacement staff in case of a person is on leave.
Forwarding the requests of the staff to the immediate boss/supervisor (if required) in case the request is not under the authority of the PM.
Creating of good linkages with the concerned ministries/directorates, local Shuras, CDC’s/CDG’s, DPO’s, national and international NGO’s working in the region.
Preparing a schedule for the monitoring and evaluation visits to the overall project activities and also sometimes making surprise visits to the project activities locations.
BA in Management is preferred
