Khyber Fuel Logistics Services Company is also providing dry cargo services to multiple military bases in Afghanistan and also transportation from Pakistan.

In accomplishing its mission, Khyber Fuel assures secure storage of the oil Provides a high standard of storage tank assets.

Provides a high standard of preventive and curative methods to avoid any loss of product and prevent work-related injuries and illness.

Provides safe and healthy working conditions for its employees and subcontractors ensures employees readiness for duty by providing them with all necessary education, training and support with our own staff of more than 1000 employees, including management, office staff, yard and drivers, we have the infrastructure and logistical capabilities necessary to develop storage strategies according to geographic, political, military and other specifications. We are also proficient at generating quick-response contingency plans for unforeseen and/or emergency situations.

Khyber Fuel has 12 Storage Tanks with a total capacity of 15,016,000 Liters Operations storage facility in Kandahar and 57 horizontal fuel tanks in Heart terminal. In addition, for unforeseen surge requirements, we have the ability to engage subcontractors to augment our own company’s assets. In summary, Khyber Fuel has stored fuel to the most dangerous and remote areas of Afghanistan safely, securely and intact.

Regarding dry cargo we have terminals in multiple cities all over Afghanistan and dedicated staff are working round the clock to full fill customers’ demands. We are having staff training in different location of Afghanistan in logistics, HSSE, management controls.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing the resource and expertise to deliver the core daily, weekly, monthly and annual required reports and support tasks in compliance with organization policies, regulations and directives. This position participates in discussions and decision making relating to the principal team functions of program planning and achieving and evaluating results while ensuring that financial management, internal controls, and accountability issues receive appropriate consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between departments and companies to provide information that the staff needs to prepare for operations, meetings, and communicating relevant information from employee’s managers and CEO.

Check program logs for accuracy and conformance rules and regulations, and resolve program inaccuracies.

Confer with managers and operation staff to discuss issues other problems, budgets and policies.

Coordinate activities between departments, companies and site offices.

Direct and coordinate activities of personnel.

Establish work schedules and assign work to staff members.

Evaluate new and existing programs for suitability and in order to assess the need for changes.

Monitor and review programs in order to ensure that schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to, and

Monitor and report Government issues.

Monitor and report MoMP issues.

Monitor and report MoF issues.performances are of adequate quality.

Perform personnel duties such as coordinating the hiring of staff with HR department and evaluating work performance.

Plan and schedule programs related to the company. 

Review information about operations and schedules in order to ensure accuracy and provide such information as necessary.

Participate in the planning and execution of activities.

Oversee the Office systems in all department staff.

Implement, review and ensure efficient process, methods and procedures in addition to ensuring compliance with all the office policies.

Develop Office strategy and revise the office guidelines as needed.

Manage field operations and plan for effective operations in line with the strategic plan.

Advise the management on the day to day management of the office work.

Make sure that the programmer targets are achieved.

Prepare strategic outreach and growth plans.

Prepare annual staff capacity development plan and make sure that the plan is implemented.

Assist the management in developing new business plan.

Ensure that all required reports on operation, reports on finance, report on government office outreach and growth are prepared on time and submitted to different stake holders as needed.

Conduct regular monitoring of staff and visit clients on a regular basis to ensure quality control of information and activities.

Other job-related tasks as assigned by the management.

 

Job Requirements

MBA in Finance with 10-15 years of related experience


  Proficiency in complex accounting systems and advanced level MS Excel skills

·    Excellent solution-based management and analytical skills.

·    Fluency in English (working language), and language skills in Pashto and Dari required.

·    Knowledge management, finance and compliance experience.

·  Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills, including presentation skills – in local and English languages.

·      Focuses on results.

·      Strong sense of personal initiative and problem-solving skills.
