The Afghan Social Marketing Organization (ASMO) is a social marketing and behavioral change communication organization established in August 2008. ASMO as a free-standing, not-for-profit Afghan organization aims to create positive health outcomes by giving Afghan households the information they need to make informed and healthy choices and expanding access to high quality health products through commercial markets.
From the inception to-date ASMO successfully implemented multi-million Dollar projects in Afghanistan through sub-awards sponsored by USAID focusing to improve health services.
ASMO is currently working as a sub-contractor with Abt Associate Inc under SHOPS Plus/USAID project (The Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector Pluss is Afghan Social Marketing Organization (ASMO)
This is Provider Detailing Position
Attend training session organized by ASMO on family planning, anemia prevention, diarrhea management and safe water system products
Visit health providers solo practice to provide detailing on ASMO health products
Provide health education sessions for patient waiting to seek medical consultation at private providers’ solo practice
Distribute print/promotion materials and maintain brand display at providers’ solo practice
Coordinate organizing additional training/refresher training sessions with private providers and Maternal Health Product Senior Officer
Provide report of providers visited and health education sessions held at providers solo practice by number of sessions held and number of people reached by health messages
Bachelor Medical Faculty, Public Health Nursing, Pharmacy
Technical skills: Strong communication skill.
Industry experience: A minimum 1 year of related experience with national or international organization
Personal qualities: Be able to work in a multi-cultural setting
Technology skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
