Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Attending and active participation in training on data collection procedures and measures and maintains reliability

·        Participation in pre-training and post-training assessments; passing of post-training assessment threshold is mandatory

·        Collecting the data of selected health facilities/hospitals in accordance with established protocols

·        Conducting two exit interviews with a woman who has used family planning services and with the caregiver of sick child under 5 years of age, who received outpatient care per sample health facility

·        Conducting two randomly (out of 10) role plays with the care provider per sample health facility. There are 10 knowledge test/vignettes on Pneumonia, Diarrhoea, Growth monitoring, TB, Labor, PNC pre discharge, ANC first visit, Birth spacing/Family planning counselling, DMPA, Postpartum haemorrhage.

·        Conducting structural indicators interview on General Management, Hygiene, OPD, Family Planning, Laboratory, Essential Drugs Management, Tracer Drugs, Maternity, EPI and ANC

·        Review all collected data on a daily bases (on the spot) to identify mistakes or missing information and go back to the health facility for correction/clarification as needed to ensure the high quality of data collected.

·        Communicating regularly with the Field Managers to update them on the status of the field work and all field-related problems on a regular basis.

·        Submitting all completed data collection forms (or scanned copies) tablets/smartphones to office after final check if any.

·        Keeping the instruments safe and maintaining confidentiality of the data.

·        Maintaining supplies of material needed for data collection and communicating needs for additional supplies to Field Managers in a timely manner.

·        Demonstrate integrity with the values and ethical standards of Particip GmbH, and Ministry of Public Health

·        Promotes the vision, mission and strategic goals of Particip GmbH.

·        Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability.

·        Treats all people fairly without favouritism.

Job Requirements

·        Medical University graduate--MD or minimum graduated from fourth year of medical school.

·        Working experience in clinic/hospital is preferred.

·        Resident of the province is preferred

·        Familiarity with electronic data collection is an asset

·        Excellent written and spoken Dari and Pashto

·        Having good communication skills
