About NSDO

Job Summary

This project is based on finding, motivating, training and leading youth of Afghanistan in a network aimed at bringing about a meaningful and sustainable change. Through this project, we are doing a process that will bring social and social economic reform in Afghanistan through a well thought-out process. The project will work with dedicated youth from each provincial and district in the Western region, and tap into a nascent movement of positive youth action.
Through this project, 16 Provincial Youth Mentors from Farah, Herat, Ghor and Badghis will be selected, trained and came back to their community and work with the youth to bring change.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Provincial Youth Mentor;

Will participate in one month training in Kabul, after the completion of the month-long training, they will be responsible for a cascade training of 2 youth change agents in each of the districts of the 4 provinces over the course of 2 weeks.

Will be responsible for working with the District Youth Mentors to hold monthly meetings of all of the change agents, and to organize all logistics associated with the meetings with NSDO support.

Will be connected at the provincial level through social media, monthly provincial meetings, workshops, and tours around the region.

Will organize one regional conference or workshop with all of the participating change agents from the four provinces.

Will introduce their thinking and contribute to sustainable development through participation in the community development council (CDC) meetings and shaping the decision makings of their community through their active participation in development of their community.

Will be responsible for conducting a baseline survey, as well as, a rapid assessment of project implementation, and a final evaluation of the project.

Job Requirements

Have good communication skill, Be under 30 years old, At least graduated from High school, Be able to facilitate training
