Job Summary

We are looking for a Public Relations (PR) Officer to organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public. As a PR Officer, you should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a crisis. We expect you to have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. If you are also confident in your public speaking and project management abilities, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to cultivate a positive company image.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
  • Planning publicity strategies and campaigns
  • Writing and producing presentations and press releases
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations
  • Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
  • Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research
  • Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients and the media and answer enquiries from the media and other organizations
  • Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings
  • Manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
  • Any other task given

Job Requirements

·        Excellent organizational skills
·        Strong communication ability (oral and written)
·        Proficient in MS Office and social media
·        Background in researching, writing and editing publications
·        Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)


BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications BBA in marketing or a related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
