Job Summary

Quality Controller- Footwear, QA, QC, footwear, shoes quality, production, material, leather, product development, inspection, material inspection, finish inspection. Analysis of Quality requirement and work on Quality Improvement, Ensure process improvement to minimize the Quality problems Co-ordination between Production, product development team and procurement department for Quality related issues Process Inspection related MIS preparation Material and finish product inspection.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in carrying out departmental objectives in Arrow Boot, utilizing knowledge of production purposes, rules, regulations, procedures, and practices.
Need a professional with a rich experience of approx. 10 to 12 years of which at least last 3 years handling the same profile. Should be technically very strong in Footwear
Will be responsible for ;
-Good Technical knowledge
-Ability to assess product risks
-Good Knowledge in Patterns
-Process knowledge should know how to do root cause analysis and fix the problem at source so that it does not re-occur.
-The ability to manage a factory independently and by himself and has the ability to rise up the performance level of a factory.
-Good problem solving skills on product & processes.
-Ability to analyze data to search for the problem areas and then have quickly wins by focusing on solutions.
-Monitoring Quality control
-Daily co-ordination of Production related work.
-Preparing Inspection report.
-Ensure the quality standards laid down by the organization


Monitoring:
The Quality Controller may oversee an entire Manufacturing unit including Inspection of receiving Raw Materials.

Team Work:
Dedicated team leader with well-developed communication skills and able to build motivated teams that consistently exceed production goals.

Coaching and Developing Others:
Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

Job Requirements

*Higher School Education certificate / Diploma / Course in Footwear Quality Controller.
*Knowledge of principles and methods of Footwear Manufacturing.
* Successful track record of In-charge of Quality Control department of a footwear unit.
* Good presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with a team of Production Officers & workmen.
* Demonstrated ability in complex situations.
* Ability to negotiate / handle issues with Labor.
*Should be an excellent team player - sharp, smart, polite, aggressive, with a pleasing personality, quick decision making ability & with proven track record.
*Excellent strategic thinking.
*Lead the department towards achieving high customer satisfaction.
*Detail oriented & analytical.
*Committed accountable & hard working.
*Should have knowledge have various quality control and inspection methods.
* Basic computer skills
