We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Radio Manager to oversee the audio production and operations for Arman FM and Arakozia FM. The Audio Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of audio content, managing the technical aspects of broadcasting, and leading a team of audio engineers and producers.
Audio Production Management:
• Oversee the production of all audio content for Arman FM and Arakozia FM, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality.
• Coordinate with producers, hosts, and other stakeholders to plan and execute audio projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of all audio content.
Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of audio engineers, technicians, and producers.
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest audio production techniques and technologies.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Quality Control:
• Monitor live broadcasts and recorded content to ensure high audio quality and adherence to broadcast standards.
• Implement quality control processes and perform regular audits of audio content.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as programming, marketing, and sales, to align audio production with overall station goals.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors for special projects and events.
Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the audio department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor expenditures and report on budget performance.
Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure all audio content complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Innovation and Development:
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in audio production and broadcasting.
• Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance the listener experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role Experience in the Media or Radio sector will be preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of audio editing software and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in both Dari and Pashto is preferred.
