Job Summary
We are looking for Implementation Associates (Regional Field Coordinators) in
the Western region of Afghanistan.
As an Implementation Associate you will support officials at regional and provincial levels to implement a customised version of our reform model, which involves strengthening management systems and analysing data that will enable rapid action to improve health outcomes and save lives. You will help build on the existing insights and engagement to strengthen the health system at a national level and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
The contract is a permanent one with a six months probation period.

Duties & Responsibilities
Work with provincial health leadership to strengthen EPI and primary health care service delivery
Visit health facilities to provide monitoring, problem-solving support, and capacity building support
Conduct public surveys to assess demand and awareness for COVID-19 and other EPI services in provinces
Understand how to use and interpret data to improve performance, and identify challenges / bottlenecks in service delivery
Collect data from the health facilities using a digital tool
Coordinate with the health staff to collect accurate data
Assist in conducting data analysis and formulating reports
Travel to Kabul every 4-6 weeks to share learnings with the team
Job Requirements
We can only accept candidates of Afghan nationality who reside in the Western region of Afghanistan (Herat, Farah, Badghis, Ghor)
At least 2 years experience of working in the health system (ideally immunisation) as doctors or other health professionals
Prior experience in data collectionand field work
Proven track record of working in the country
Having a university degree is a must (ideally from health related fields or management)
Excellent Dari/Farsi and Pashto, fluent English is necessary
Comfortable working with technology
Good problem solving and consulting skills
Strong drive and motivation;
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team
Willingness to travel across all provinces in the given region beyond provincial capitals
