Summary of Position:
WIG is currently seeking a Reporting Officer as part of its national team to take responsibility for all reporting related activities of the program. Develop reporting template, schedule and guideline to capture accurately all program activities and outcomes in a systematic, and periodic manner based on the M&E indicators and requirements. The Reporting officer will report directly to the Project National Team Leader. The position also will be responsible for coordination of collection, compilations all reports and their distribution as per management instruction.The assignment period would be May 1, 2012 through September 2013 at a full-time level of effort.
Primary Responsibilities of Position:
Serve as a member of the national team and take responsibility for overall planning, scheduling, production and distributions of program activities and outcomes reports
Play a leading role in the development and implementation of reporting template, schedule and guideline for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly program reports
Assist interns in both Kabul and selected provinces to develop and submit accurate weekly reports indicating their activities, challenges, lesson learnt and outcomes
Coordinate with supervisors, provincial officers, and private sector officer to collect interns weekly reports for consolidation and extraction of key points for management review
Coordinate with Database officer to ensure accurate record of all reports are developed and kept available,
Play a key role in the development of quarterly and annual program reports
Keep close relation with M&E department to ensure all reporting format are in accordance with defined program indicators
Conduct regular assessments of reporting format and procedures to ensure information and required data are collected on a continuous and timely bases
activities and outcomes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/Qualifications
Degree in Communication, public relation , human resource management, or a related area;
Proven previous experience designing and implementing reporting formats and template in development work or similar environments
Excellent familiarity with data collection, and information gathering, analysis, presentation and generating reports
Excellent communication skills, writing ability and reporting experience
Ability to work as an integral part of a professional team, set priorities and handle a large volume of activities as and when required
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication in English and interpersonal skills
Willing to travel as necessary throughout Afghanistan
Excellent computer literacy
