Job Summary

Researcher will be responsible for supervising, assisting, conducting, organizing and providing Various researches around the country.

Duties & Responsibilities

 To facilitate and support research activities in the field
 To cooperate on development various manuals and training materials.
 Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to conduct research.
 Providing advice and support to the team in related tasks in the field.
 Conducting surveys and research on various issues upon request of Project Manager.
 Submitting scheduled monthly plans to the Project Manager.
 Submitting scheduled monthly reports to the Project Manager.
 Maintaining a filing system both in hard and soft copies.
 Any other task, which is required for the successful implementation of the project or assigned by the project manager.

Job Requirements

Relevant University degree (preferably in a social science related field)

At least 1 up to 2 years of relevant work experience
 Demonstrated facilitation, consulting, and/or conducting research experience required.
 Has a firm understanding of rural Afghan communities and ability to work with these communities
 Good communication skills
 Good report writing skills
 Fluent in Pashto, Dari and preferably English
 Computer skills: well versed in MS Office
 Ability of working with people from different backgrounds
 Excellent interpersonal, able to work in team and be a support figure for others
 Have a keen eye for details
 Well organized and good time management
 Able to identify and solve problems on hem or her own
