Job Summary

MiDS DCS is looking to hire a revenues assurance officer who is responsible to work in close relation with MiDS partners on revenue identification, determination and finalization. The position requires multiple reports comparison and analysis obtained from databases used by MiDS and its partners. It also involves close interaction with customers’ revenue assurance, finance and or sales department whoever is relevant to claim acceptance and processing payments. The position requires highest guarantee of accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Revenue Assurance officer will be responsible for the following detailed tasks, but not limited to:

Work closely with MiDS Partners on revenue determination and calculation from a very micro perspective.

Reviews multiple reports from application servers and databases provided both by MiDS and its partners.

Reconcile inconsistences and discrepancies with a 99% accuracy criteria.

Reconcile variances with customer revenue or sales departments and ensure MiDS revenue is safeguarded.

Reviews vendor charges and implements corrective measures to prevent error and fraud

Coordinates bill disputes in accordance with corporate policies both with partners and customers.

Maintain a well formatted reporting mechanism acceptable to all stakeholders of MiDS and its customers in regards to revenue calculation and illustration.

Assists in reconciliation with financial software’s of the company with data entry officers and counterparts.

Job Requirements

At least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields.

Practical knowledge and experience in accountancy

Understanding of common accounting software’s such as quickbooks, peach three, or any ERP.

Basic information about telecom sector and ICT

Experience or basic knowledge of Tax regulation in the context of Afghanistan.

The candidate should have good interpersonal and time management skills and must be able to meet critical deadlines

2 to 3 years of experience in relevant positions with a reputable organization

Good working knowledge of English
