Job Summary

1. Be able to install all MW link equipment.
2. Be able to install all GSM equipment.
3. Be able to lead, supervise organize & monitor a team of Telecom Technicians engaged in the related Telecom activities.
4. Be able to plane in advance the related tasks and estimate the necessary Telecom, material, equipment, tools and other resources required to complete the task timely and efficiently.
5. Be able to optimize resources (telecom, equipment and materials) and to ensure maximum efficiency in the tasks completion.
6. Be able to demonstrate good organizational skills and to follow policies, procedures and work practices.
7. Be able to trip everywhere (all provinces). Where are telecom tower and make trip plan in advance.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Global Drive test, troubleshooting for simple problems and give proper solution for that.
2. Site integration for new site which are coming on air
3. Physical site audit
4. Change the physical configurations of sites if necessary
5. Technical site survey and planning
6. Nominal Planning for new RF sites
7. Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of VSAT Networks.
8. Operation and Maintenance of Flexi BTS at remote sites
9. First Line Maintenance of the remote sites which include A/C, Power, BTS and VSAT.
10. NOC coordination.
11. Reporting to Regional Telecom Engineer.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or High School Graduate.
2. Computer Literate.
3. Basic Telecom Understanding.
4. Capable of working with Basic RF tools like compass, GPS, Camera, Tilt meter
5. Capable to claim the tower and bring the changes as requested by Optimization team
Education:

The technician should have at least 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

Should have a Bachelor degree, high school diploma or equivalent

Have access to reliable transportation
1. Familiar with telecommunication tools, power tools, ticketing systems, and escalation procedures
2. Good troubleshooting skills.
3. Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
4. Proven ability to work independently.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines.
