Job Summary

Sky Travel and Tours is a travel management company that needs to be improved and developed according to the market. The sales & Marketing officer will work under the supervision of the manager and will report to the manager. Fundamentally, the main responsibilities of the position are to do marketing, visit clients, and increase sales of products.

 

The officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and a great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different sales and marketing activities.

 

The goal is to ensure that the marketing and development efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Get enough knowledge about the company and products before going to the market.

·      Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.

·      Support the sales team and marketing manager in supervising the department’s operations.

·      Set meetings with existing clients and new clients to meet them.

·      Bring new companies and increase market share.

·      Organize and attend business development and marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.

·      Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social media, print media, etc.)

·      Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.

·      Understand and work on different RFPs, RFQs, and other tender documents.

·      See all businesses through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.

·      Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution, for example, newsletters, emails, social media posts, or special package.

·      Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and development.

·      Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses of the department.

·      Preparing, planning, and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion.

·      Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing and new clients.

·      Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan.

·      Travel to provinces and meet clients and branches if required.

·      Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activities.

·      Developing and implementing an internal marketing program.

·      Translation of documents into Dari, Pashto, and English if required.

·      Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.

·      Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.

·      Develop daily weekly and monthly reports if asked by the supervisor.

·      Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions.

·      Must be loyal to the company, be sure to keep the company information secret, and not share with market competitors.

·      Comply with all the discipline rules and regulations inside and outside the organization.

·      Any other job-related responsibilities as per management request. 

Job Requirements

·      Must have at least three years of related experience in the market.

·      At least a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a master’s will be preferred.

·      Excellent in the communication of Pashto, Dari, and English.
