Job Summary

Scheduler US Army Corps Projects in P3 or P6

Duties & Responsibilities

•Cost Load, Resource Load, Develop, control, and maintain the master integrated construction schedule.
•Revise the Schedule as per the client’s instructions and site requirements.
•Interface and coordinate with project team, engineering and construction contractors, and third-party construction service providers.
•Support efforts to collect, integrate and report key project data in an efficient manner to the higher Management and Client.
•Provide accurate and timely reports as needed to Construction management on project planning and execution coordination activities
Issue schedule updates whenever required.
•Assist site management in developing/reviewing schedule corrective action and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented
•Establish and maintain project progress measurement systems for project
Prepare and update Construction Progress Reports(Earned Value Report, Resource Curves) and performance measurement
•Ensure that Project Controls deliverable are satisfied and Project Control Systems and procedures are implemented
•Submit the monthly pay estimate pencil copy along with the schedule formats.
•Revise the schedule as per the approved pay estimate and resubmit the approved one.
•Ensure that Project Controls deliverable are satisfied and Project Control Systems and procedures are implemented

Job Requirements

Education: Bsc (Civil Engineering), B.Tech (Civil Engineering),
Experience: 3-5 years scheduling experience in US Army Corps (USACE)/AED projects.
Large infrastructure project experience highly preferred.
Experienced user of Primavera P6.
Cost control experience is a plus.

Other Competencies:
• Excellent organizing skills and accuracy on daily tasks and inspections
• Excellent training skills regarding scheduling regulations and rules
• Being a good team player, good interpersonal and communication, facilitation and community mobilization skills.
• Should familiar with computer programs like MS. Office, Internet, Outlook, Primavera P6, Ms. Project etc.
• Ability to work well under pressure

Language:
Fluent in Pashto, Dari and English.

Note: Familiarity with USACE/AED project is a core competency for this position and cannot ignored.
