Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Administrative Assistant, the security staff is responsible for guarding the project grounds, property and personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Control access for entering and existing project compound by individuals and vehicles.

• Screen visitors--including physical search as directed--entering the office/ residence compound by establishing identity and alerting project staff of arrivals.

• Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the office/residence compound for the transport of staff and the delivery or disposal of goods.

• Alert designated staff to any irregularities noted that could impact the safety of staff or the security of the grounds and the protection of property.

• Patrol the exterior grounds and inspect the interior at regular intervals to ensure there are no safety of security hazards, including the switching on or turning off of equipment and appliances as appropriate.

• Undertake other tasks, including intermittent administrative support duties, as directed by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Primary education.


Work Experience:

• Minimum 1 years prior experience performing similar functions outlined in the job description
