The Control Room J-Officer (CRJO) will work under the line management of Control Room Team Leader (CRTL). And the main responsibilities of CCTV operators revolve around monitoring, security coordination, system management and reporting any suspicious activity to Head of Security immediately.
1) Daily Morning Security Sweep: Ensure all security equipment’s, door locks, safe rooms, smoke detectors and cameras are operational.
2) Live Surveillance Monitoring: Continuously observe live footage to detect suspicious behavior and safety risks.
3) Incident Reporting and Emergency Response: Alert the security line manager or CCTV supervisor in real-time about incidents like theft, demolition, or accidents to line manager or security supervisor on the spot.
4) Recording and Managing Footage: Ensure proper recording, storage, and cataloging of video footage for future recovery.
5) Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct daily checks of CCTV equipment to verify functionality and report malfunctions.
6) Log Keeping and Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of incidents, equipment status, and actions taken with accurate details.
7) Collaboration with Security Team: Work closely with on-site security staff to provide real-time intelligence during incidents.
8) Control Room Operations: Perform daily operations in the control room efficiently and effectively.
9) Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor CCTV during shifts and report suspicious activity to the line manager or CCTV supervisor officer immediately.
10) Communication: Management: Respond to radio checks from security staff and keep accurate communication records.
11) Parking and Staff Movement Monitoring: Monitor vehicles and staff movements inside and outside the premises of the bank/branches.
12) Main Switchboard Management: Answer calls courteously and direct them to the appropriate department.
13) Evening Security Sweep: Check that all doors are locked and turn off lamps and other electrical devices.
14) Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as directed by the duty line manager
