Job Summary

The security officer will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth implementation of CRDSA’s security policy and procedures and also to ensure the security and safety of CRDSA’s staff on the field.

Duties & Responsibilities

Will responsible for security management and advisor to the managing director and/or his deputy.

Co-ordinate and provide security training to the security guards and field staff.

Act as liaison with the local and regional officials, UN, NGO and other agencies regarding security issues in the planning, co-coordinating and supporting existing and future CRDSA’s projects.

Collect, author, compile and analyze security related reports/information from multiple sources and ensure CRDSA security manual is current and relevant to the situation on the ground.

Track and report on relevant incidences, and the geopolitical situation in areas.

Support and built the capacity of the security staff.

Ensure the implementation of the security manual and procedures.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 year of working in international/national NGOs in similar position

High school graduated.

Good English skills

3 years of field security experiences working in similar position with national/international NGOs in the western region of Afghanistan.

Advance first aid training

Ability to exercise sound judgments and make decisions independently.

Excellent decision making skills

Ability to work independently under difficult conditions.
