Job Summary

The EFL instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students enrolled in the academy's English language program. This includes lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, and providing constructive feedback to students to support their language learning journey.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver English language lessons to students based on curriculum guidelines.
  • Assess students’ progress, provide feedback, and tailor teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment conducive to language acquisition.
  • Participate in professional development activities and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in language education.
  • Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Be able to teach all the essential skills of English Language.
  • Prepare action plans and daily lesson plans.
  • Mentor and train employees, fostering their professional growth and development within their respective roles.
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the academy by participating in committees, and other extracurricular activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and adhere to IELA’s, policies, culture and values.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.


Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least three years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong knowledge of English language teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • Ability to effectively speak both national languages (Pashto and Dari)
