Boustan-E-Sabz Agricultural Company is principally a market-driven business with access to international markets and with a focus on value-added products using our optimum packaging and storage facilities. Boustan-E-Sabz (BES) intends to expand into becoming a full-line fruit & vegetable agribusiness by leveraging our fresh produce expertise into value-added fruit & vegetable processing. BES has a comprehensive strategy to both promote exports of high value agricultural products and develop food products for import substitution. Besides other agricultural services, Boustan-e-Sabz is planning to establish a Fruit & Vegetable Processing Division with a Juice & Juice Concentrate Plant and a Dried Fruit (Raisin) Processing Line. Both lines will be flexible to process a wide variety of products so that BES can produce for specific customer demand. Juice will focus initially on grape, apple, and carrot with future expansion into other fruit and vegetable juices.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Senior Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining financial and accounting services in order to meet the financial standards and reporting requirements for Boustan Sabz.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
• Assume responsibility for the finance team, ensuring their performance adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Foster a collaborative and agile environment, recognizing the unique needs of a growing organization.

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

• Coordinate the budgeting and planning process, setting annual budgets and three-year plans in collaboration with the executive committee.
• Provide accurate monthly financial statements and forecasts, identifying and communicating any deviations promptly.

Cash Flow Management:

• Take charge of sound cash flow management for working capital and proposed investments.
• Develop detailed cash flow projections aligned with the company's needs, overseeing systems and follow-up procedures.

Financial Systems and Compliance:

• Develop tools and practices to ensure a well-managed fiscal and financial system, balancing the needs of a small, agile organization.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards in all financial practices.

Financial Reporting and Auditing:

• Manage the finance department, delivering concise and accurate financial statements and easy-to-track business performance data.
• Oversee all financial obligations, including audits, in accordance with international and professional best practices.

Cost Management and Risk Mitigation:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities, including process improvements and optimal payment terms.
• Identify and minimize financial risks, ensuring the company's fiscal health.

Job Requirements

• experience as a Senior Finance Officer.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Team-building expertise.
• Solid knowledge of advanced financial and accounting principles, taxation systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in raising capital.
• Bachelor's degree in economics or finance, and CPA certification.
• Experience working with international companies.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance laws.
