Duties & Responsibilities

Act as senior translator for the team, particularly focusing on providing support to all JSSP Translation Teams.

Assist in developing, conducting, and evaluating training programs with all the JSSP program translators.

Develop capacity of all translators within JSSP.

Participate in Translators recruitment process.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree is required.

At least two years of relevant experience is required.

Experience in conducting internal training is required.

Experience working in cross-cultural environments is required.

Experience in developing curriculum and training programs is required.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in written with staff at all levels of the organization.

Excellent written and oral English and Dari.

Excellent computer skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with editing and proofreading the documents.

Ability to build effective working relationships remotely and quickly.

Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and identify an appropriate response to them.

Deadline oriented.

Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.

Development and management of an effective and motivated team.

Ability to manage conflicts and balance a heavy workload.

Knowledge:


Good understanding of capacity building in translation field within JSSP.

Knowledge and understanding of the development sections.
