Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Manager to oversee our substation & Transmission Line project in Kandahar & Zabul Provinces. Under the guidance of the project management team based at the main office, the Site Manager will be responsible for executing, managing, and monitoring project activities while leading the on-site team to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all technical activities and personnel on site.
2. Implement construction work according to approved drawings and specifications.
3. Supervise daily site operations to ensure smooth execution of all activities.
4. Handle project accounting, budget tracking, and risk minimization.
5. Optimize resource use through effective management of materials, equipment, and labor.
6. Manage project personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources.
7. Control and monitor financial aspects, including fuel usage, machinery rent, and material waste.
8. Ensure construction activities adhere to the project schedule.
9. Foster teamwork and boost staff morale in alignment with company goals.
10. Prepare and implement daily and weekly task plans based on the project timeline.
11. Lead quality control, safety, administration, logistics, and finance functions on site.
12. Provide technical solutions and resolve issues arising during the project.
13. Coordinate with the main office for timely provision of resources, materials, and financial support.
14. Prepare regular progress reports and communicate challenges and required solutions to the main office.
15. Estimate and request required materials throughout construction phases.
16. Ensure materials and equipment received are compliant with specifications and properly stored.
17. Collaborate with the Project Manager and QC team to maintain checklists, logs, and monitoring tools.
18. Maintain and organize all project documentation.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management. (Electrical Engineering preferred)
