Duties & Responsibilities

Plumber is responsible for!
1-Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, , plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
2-Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect.
3-Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
4-Study building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
5-Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, 6-using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as 7-pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
8- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
9- Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
Hang steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes in place.
10-Direct workers engaged in pipe cutting and preassembly and installation of plumbing systems and components.
11-Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
12-And any other job related tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

1-At least 14 pass or related training to plumber field.
2-at least 4 four years experience and tow years experience with US Army Corps of Engineering is must/USACE project in the related field.
3-Able to problems solving.
4-Languages Skil;
English , Pashto and Dari
