Job Summary

To work under direct supervision of Project Manager/Construction Manager at site project

including following Duties and Responsibilities noticed on Duties and Responsibilities section.

Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Planning & Compliance:

• Develop and implement the Quality Control Plan (QCP) for the substation project.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Inspections & Audits:

• Conduct three-phase inspections (preparatory, initial, follow-up).
• Perform joint inspections with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Checklists.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions.
• Maintain records of test results, inspections, and approvals.

Defect Identification & Resolution:

• Report quality deviations, defects, and non-conformities.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Verify implementation of corrective measures.

Coordination & Training:

• Conduct quality meetings with project stakeholders.
• Train site teams on quality standards and best practices.

Additional Duties:

• Ensure calibration of testing equipment.
• Support project handover and as-built documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years in quality control for HV substations/power projects.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving.

Work Environment:

• Site-based with occasional office reporting.
• Must work in high-pressure construction conditions.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineer/Power Engineer
• At least 5-10 years of experience in similar position
• Having experience in substation or transmission line is an advantage.

Qualifications

Having patience while working and good relationship & communication skills is a plus
