Job Summary

AWCC Skilled laborer is a member of Fiber team that is responsible for trenching, plowing, and placing aerial and buried communication cable, fiber optic cable, conduits and other related facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Opens trenches, backfills and compacts trenches using hand tools and power equipment.

Ø Loads and unloads fiber equipment’s

Ø digging manholes

Ø Installation of new Manholes

Ø Blowing the cable from MH to MH

Ø Cleaning and repairing the MH if there is any damages

Ø Responsible for day to day patrolling AWCC Kabul OFC Paths to prevent any eventualities that causing long network outages

Ø Digs trenches

Ø To assist and support OFC Engineer works

Ø Willing to travel to other regions while required

Drive the company fiber splicing truck

Job Requirements

High schedule graduated with minimum 4 years of experience in the related field.
