OMID is a national independent media station, main office in Kabul with 20 provincial branches. OMID Radio produces and broadcast news magazine, Islamic, social, cultural, economic and etc programs. Besides its radio programs, OMID Radio has an active online presence in social media platforms, where it publishes updated news and content as well as video materials and documentaries. This radio station reaches over 15 million listeners in Kabul, neighboring and other provinces of Afghanistan. Established in 2023, OMID Radio is an independent, non-governmental media organization, registered in Afghanistan. Throughout its short history of establishment, the station has voiced the voices of its listeners from urban centers and all across Afghanistan. OMID Radio is committed to reflect the truth and be a strong communication bridge between its audiences and government.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to represent our organization by building a social media active and solid presence. The social media manager will be required to run advertising campaigns and drive engagement by creating high-quality original content. The social media manager should also engage followers and manage them by responding to comments across all platforms.
The social manager is also required to conduct various researches, oversee the online platforms and collect feedback so that to produce creative useful content.
○ Developing and managing social media campaign strategy
○ Managing all radio social media pages
○ Increasing social media engagement across platforms
○ Building and moderating social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engaged
○ Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)—like link clicks, likes, and other metrics—of social media marketing campaigns
○ Monitoring and analyzing trends and competitor performance
○ Collaborating with agencies and influencers to improve brand awareness
○ Running OMID Radio's social media advertising campaigns.
○ Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence
○ Monitoring the organization's brand on social media
○ Building awareness by engaging relevant influencers
○ Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
○ Responding to comments on each of social accounts.
○ Overseeing customer service provided via social media
○ Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
○ Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices.
○ Providing quality material for video channels
○ Promoting radio programs through social media pages
○ Managing and maintaining content/materials on the website and YouTube channel
○ Providing indicators for materials to make sure the content being published timely
○ Any other activities assigned by the supervisor
