Job Summary

Social media officer typically involves managing an organisation's social media accounts, creating and posting engaging content, monitoring social media metrics, and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Uploading Daily videos and SM materials on the Company’s official accounts/channels
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) on social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and audience sentiment.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive brand image.
  • Stay informed about changes in social media algorithms, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance social media strategies.
  • Execute social media campaigns, promotions, and partnerships to drive user acquisition and engagement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to identify new opportunities for social media growth and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a social media Officer or similar role, with a track record of successful social media management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies across various platforms.
  • Experience in creating and curating engaging content, including text, image, and video content.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to optimise performance.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing social media campaigns from conception to execution.
  • Excellent written skill - writing interesting, entertaining, and formal captions/titles and descriptions in Dari, Pashto and English
  • In-depth knowledge of current social media trends, platforms, and best practices.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and create innovative social media content.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
