Job Summary

The Software developers design, program, build, deploy and maintain software using many

different skills and tools. They also help build software systems that power networks and devices

and ensure that those systems remain functional.

Duties & Responsibilities

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:


1. Design and development of software solutions

2. Collaborating with developers’ team on coding

and testing

3. Collaborating with stakeholders to define project

requirements

4. Debugging and fixing software defects

5. Learning and applying best practices in .NET

development

6. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code

7. Participating in team meetings and brainstorming

sessions

8. Seeking feedback for skill improvement

9. Adapting software to new hardware or

environments

10. Optimizing software for performance and

scalability.

Job Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:


‐ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree in computer will be preferred.

‐ Professional IT related certifications may be preferred.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:


‐ Proven experience in IT roles, preferably within the banking or financial services sector for more than 2 years.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:


‐ Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

‐ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technology challenges.

‐ Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET framework

‐ Understanding both the traditional .NET Framework and the cross-platform .NET

‐ Familiarity with RESTful/SOAP API development and integration

‐ Understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies

‐ Proficiency in using development tools like Visual Studio

‐ Knowledge of web security principles and best practices

‐ Knowledge of responsive web design principles

‐ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including advanced techniques

‐ Understanding of database concepts and SQL

‐ Version control experience with Git

‐ Eagerness to learn and adapt

‐ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
