Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a specialization in Odoo development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of Odoo applications. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a passion for improving business processes through technology. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview at our office. The role also includes training and mentoring junior developers to help them become Odoo experts. We are looking for someone with patience, a welcoming personality, and a positive demeanor.

Duties & Responsibilities

  •  Develop and customize Odoo ERP modules as per business requirements.

  •  Integrate Odoo ERP with other business systems and third-party applications.

  •  Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure code stability and optimal performance.

  •  Provide technical support and troubleshooting for related issues.

  •  Stay updated with the latest developments in Odoo ERP and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ERP solutions.

  •  Train end-users and provide ongoing technical support and training.

  •  Lead the development and implementation of new features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.

  •  Take the lead in training and mentoring junior developers on Python and Odoo to help them become Odoo experts.

  •  Demonstrate patience and maintain a welcoming and positive demeanor, contributing to a supportive team environment and successful project outcomes.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  •  Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing Odoo for various industries.

  •  Good English communication skills.

  •  Strong proficiency in Python and a good understanding of its ecosystems.

  •  Experience with Odoo ERP development, including module customization and development.

  •  Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and experience with SQL queries.

  •  Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  •  Experience with XML and JSON for data interchange.

  •  Experience in REST API is a plus.

  •  Ability to work with Linux/Unix systems for deployment and management.

  •  Understanding of business processes and workflow automation.

  •  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  •  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  •  Knowledge of Odoo web frameworks and architecture.

  •  Strong with Git/repository management.

  •  Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.

  •  Experience with other ERP systems is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git is highly desirable.

  •  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with patience and a welcoming, positive demeanor.
