The incumbent administers staff relations and development and payroll functions for all assigned civilian personnel.
The incumbent’s duties are:
Manages the LCH office in HQ RS with oversight of the LCH office in KAIA and IJC
Maintains professional contacts with the local community related to salary survey and medical examination requirements.
POC for projects related to LCH administration, retainment, remuneration, etc.
Informs and advises CPO on amendments or new host labour regulations, accredited by the local government
Advises LCH staff members and their supervisors on interpretation of personnel policy and procedures at his/her level
Responsible for all administration requirements for LCH personnel
Decision authority is held: Functional Area decision authority.
Supervisory duties: Manages the LCH office in HQ RS and has responsibility for oversight of the LCH office in KAIA
The employee may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organization at the same grade without there being any change to the contract.
Regular professional contacts with others inside and/or outside immediate organization on functional matters. Solicits/gives information and provides advice/guidance.
Responsible to the CPO for the provision of administrative support by the LCH Staff Relations/Recruiting Team members
Work involves the provision of information or analysis of part of a task assisting others to take action within the organization.
Primary: 345F Manpower/Human Resources management
Activities to determine the minimum quantitative and qualitative human resources needed to perform a specific mission, function, or task. Manpower requirements serves as the basis for nations to provide personnel to NATO commands and/or to fund NATO civilian posts. [Ref: NATO description to UNESCO ISCED 1997:345F]
Primary Skill Level: Follow: Works under close supervision, uses little discretion and is expected to seek guidance in unexpected situations. Performs routine activities in a structured environment using only basic systems, technology functions or applications and processes. [Ref: NATO adaptation of SFIA v3 2005:Generic Level Description]
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civilian personnel/human resources management, with preparation and execution of payroll
Post-Secondary Education or equivalent on the job training / experience
English: Good level of written and spoken language skills
Standard Automated Data Processing (ADP) Knowledge: Working Knowledge including Graphics Presentation and database.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or Public Administration, Finance or related field
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take a logical and analytical approach to problem solving

Additional Remarks:
An initial 12 month contract will be offered and contract extensions may be possible. Benefit Package:
Monthly salary of € 1,626.00
Meal Allowance of € 185.00 per month
