About NATO Afghanistan - Resolute Support

Job Summary

In order to support the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) in strengthening its national security, Resolute Support will ensure that the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) operates in a professional and self-sustainable manner. Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS Support) is responsible for planning and execution of the Support and Service Support. Resolute Support Signal Support Group is responsible for providing Communication Intelligence Surveillance (CIS) support to the Resolute Support Area of Operation and for delivering Coalition, Command, Control, Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) services to support operational requirements. Depot 26 provides depot level supply and maintenance for CIS systems under the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Communication and Information Agency (NCIA), Joint Force Command Headquarters (JFC HQ) Brunssum, Resolute Support HQ and CJ6 guidance to meet Commander of Resolute Support Mission (COMRSM) priorities of CIS supply, repair and asset distribution. Depot 26 under the authority and of Resolute Support Signal Support Group (RSSSG) logistics Officer, is responsible for supply operations, receipt, storage, maintain, repair, delivery, track through NATO Consignment Tracking System (NCTS), write off, and proper accounting of the NATO CIS equipment throughout the Coalition Joint Operational Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A). All new equipment must be received into theatre through this Depot in order to maintain accurate accountability of NATO owned CIS equipment. The Staff Assistant (Warehouse / Receipt & Dispatch) is responsible for managing the NATO owned CIS property the Depot 26 Area of Responsibility (AOR) by using the NATO Depot Support System (NDSS).

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for receipt and dispatch of all Resolute Support owned Communications and Information System (CIS) property within Depot 26 AOR in accordance with NCIA rules and regulations.
Perform all tasks related the correct warehousing of depot stock, accurate labeling of the equipment and locating material on shelves.
Responsible to conduct periodic inventory (counting) of depot stocks as directed by the chain of command.
Responsible for the correct receipt, storage, issue, and stock control of the total supply inventory including repairable and non-repairable communications equipment within the AOR.
Responsible for the tracking of all equipment submitted to the repair cycle.
Responsible for the accurate input of information to the NATO Depot Support System (NDSS) in order to have NATO CIS Equipment Maintenance and Requisition Requests (EMRR) processed in accordance with current procedures.
Responsible for the correct allocation of broken equipment to either the internal Depot 26 maintenance shop or to external contract repairs via the TOMW procedure.
Supervise the operation, care and servicing of material handling equipment
Responsible for preparing shipments, shipment manifests, coordination with Combined Joint Movement Control Center (CJMCC), CIS Sustainment Support Center (CSSC) Brunssum, Combined Air Terminal Operation (CATO), Headquarter Support Group (HSG) Transport and NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
Responsible for liaising with cargo transport departments (CATO - Combined Air Terminal Ops) to enable a flow of cargo from the CATO terminal area to Depot 26 and vice versa.
Update the NATO Consignment Tracking System (NCTS) using the RFID tags to enable accurate tracking of NATO CIS cargo throughout NATO
Load and unload CIS equipment within the warehouse
Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of the Warehouse
Provide customers with up to date Property Accounting Balance lists when the Capital Control Specialist is not available
When required, performs routine inventories of all CIS equipment and non-CIS equipment

The incumbent may be required to perform such other related duties as directed by the chain of command.
May be required to travel for official duty within and outside Resolute Support Joint Operational Area (JOA)
Contact with Military and other civilian personnel on a daily basis
Pivotal to the effectiveness of CJ6

Normal Working Conditions

Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the operation of a warehouse
Must have a minimum of 2 year experience with automated supply control procedures
Must have a national drivers licence
Must have a forklift driving licence
Be competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook application
High school education with vocational training in a relevant area

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the operation of a warehouse
Minimum of 3 year experience with automated supply control procedures
Regional Depot Supply Systems (RDSS), Stock Management, Maintenance Control and Management System (MCMS), Property Accounting Module (PAM), NATO Depot Support System (NDSS) utilities courses.They may be completed after hire as well
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take a logical and analytical approach to problem solving

Additional Remarks:
An initial 12 month contract will be offered and contract extensions may be possible. Benefit Package:
Monthly salary of € 1,064.00
Meal Allowance of € 185.00 per month
