Job Summary

The Stock Person will be responsible for all tools, equipment and spare parts assigned to the parts and tool room. The attendant ensures all tools; equipment and spare parts are properly inventoried. Responsible for properly issuing and receiving tools and equipment. Also, responsible for issuing spare parts that are in stock that are properly requested, re-ordering spare parts that are issued and ordering spare parts that are required but not stocked. The Stock Person attendant will adhere to all AFGS rules and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Stock Person attendant is responsible for the accountability of all property assigned to the tools and parts room.
• Ensure all tools, equipment and spare parts assigned to the tools and parts room is properly inventoried
• Provide requirements for ordering and re-ordering tools and equipment to the maintenance manager for approval
• Ensures all tools and equipment are properly signed out and signed in by the user.
• Maintains a current inventory using a location system for the spare parts and re-orders as necessary to maintain prescribed stockage levels.
• Periodically reviews the spare parts inventory to ensure prescribed stockade levels are current and demand supported
• Issue spare parts as required for repairs authorized by maintenance supervisor.
• Adherence to all AFGS policies and procedures as outlined in AFGS policies and procedure manuals

Job Requirements

• Minimum High School Education with one-two year’s relevant experience in any organization
• Excellent knowledge of PC, MS Office XP.
•Good spoken and written Pashto, Dari, and English
