Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Storekeeper to join our project team in Kandahar & Zabul (Qalat). The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with EPC companies, specifically in transmission line and substation projects. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the site store operations, including the receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory control of all materials and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure that equipment and supplies which will be placed in the warehouse are kept safe and in good condition.

2. Maintain accurate and proper inventory records.

3. Check and document incoming materials for accuracy between delivery and invoicing.

4. Receives orders and issues supplies and materials as appropriate.

5. Listing all the items currently in the warehouse and maintain the records of all outgoing and incoming items from and to the warehouse in-stock books, calculate, record, and show balance of all items in the store on a day-to-day basis.

6. Keep the existing items in the store in proper itemized order. A list should be prepared for this purpose, along with the relevant items in the store for easy reference and inventory.

7. Control the quality of equipment/needed items out and inside the store. 

8. Responsible to take care of fixed assets and advising staff on proper use and handling of the assets.

9. Any other task requested by the competent authority.

Job Requirements

1. High School (Degree in Economics, Business Administration and Computer Science will be preferred).
2. 5-years’ experience in general supply, warehousing, storekeeping, and inventory control.
3. Excellent knowledge of supply, warehousing, and inventory practices.
4. Good knowledge of computer operations and skills in the use of office package.
