Salam Watandar is a national radio Network producing and broadcasting news, information and entertainment to a network of 67 Afghan-owned and operated radio stations in 34 provinces with the capacity to reach over 20 million listeners across Afghanistan. Throughout its history the station has vocalized and connected the voices and aspirations of its listeners from urban centers to rural areas across Afghanistan. Salam Watandar serves as a strategic hub for partner stations offering training, technical advice and sustainability support. Through these partner stations, Salam Watandar broadcasts between 3 to 6 hours each day of high-quality Farsi and Pashto language programs to supplement their programming and provide better services to local communities across the country.

Operating and maintaining studio equipment
Handling all live and pre-recorded output
Enriching music archive of Salam Watandar
Providing technical support of studio operation to Salam Watandar staff
Able to act as a live program presenter when required
Producing commercial radio spots, promos, etc, with high quality
Ensuring that radio spots are broadcast in a timely fashion
Recording of daily programs
Any other task assigned by the supervisor
High School degree or equivalent
Ability to use adobe audition 3rd and 6th version.
Three to five years of experience in professional radio studio operation
Experienced in presenting live programs
Experienced in producing radio spots
Excellent communication skills in Dari, Pashto English will be an asset
Ability to work under minimal supervision and delegation
Ability to work late at night(from 12:00 PM till 9:00 PM at night)
High School degree or equivalent
Ability to use adobe audition 3rd and 6th version.
