Job Summary

Reports to QC Manager and stays in close contact with construction team to ensure that everything that is used on site is approved and everything that is required is submitted before use.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Making submittal plan and prioritizing them to ensure that materials are submitted and approved before they are used on the site.
2. Preparing submittals and comparing the product specifications to the design and specifications of the project client.
3. Maintaining close contact with department of procurement to ensure that materials are purchased according to approved submittal.
4. Estimating quantities of required materials and ordering them from procurement according to approved submittal.
5. Providing approved materials list and contact information of products product suppliers.
6. Coordinating with QC manager, Project manager and procurement department before submitting materials to ensure the availability of product to the required quantity in the local market.
7. Any other tasks given by the QC manager.

Job Requirements

1. University Degree in Civil engineering
2. Minimum of three years of experience in material submittal and Quality Control of building construction project.

3. Strong experience in project and team management.
4. Strong report writing skills (in English)
5. Ability of testing every kind of construction materials.
6. Fluent in English and Dari and Pashto.
7. Strong Computer knowledge.
8. Experience of working on AFCEE or USACE projects.
9. Good communication skills.
10. Computer knowledge CAD, MS Word, MS Excel.
11. Ability to work with a team with different degrees backgrounds, nationalities and religion.
12. Ability to work under stress and meet the deadlines.
13. Willing to learn new task and skills and accepts to perform task beyond the contractual obligations.
