In this context, MSF is recruiting a Supply Officer for a post.

Duties & Responsibilities

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
Work as Supply Officer under the supervision of Supply/Finance Manager:
1) Ensures a smooth running supply administration and the respect of the implemented supply procedures and tools.
2) Ensures a good planning, coordination and supervision of the daily activities for the Stock supervisor and Purchaser.
3) Responsible for the supply database and his correct filing, archiving of the supply documentation and guarantees the availability and the coherence of supply data.
4) Ensures the good purchase management (suppliers management, purchase procedures…)
5) Ensures the stocks management (medical and non-medical) and their levels are related to monthly consumption figure, expiry dates, excess drugs and possible shortages in the project.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Essential: Degree and specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain or experience in supply chain management (minimum 2 years) and in organization of supply administration and procedures.
- Desirable: Desirable proven understanding of MSF Field Logistics
- Essential: Good English (oral and written) and fluent in Pashtu. Dari is an asset;
- Desirable: Experience in an international organisation is an asset;
- Dynamic, flexible, adaptable
- Good interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
WORKING HOURS AND SALARY
FULL TIME: SATURDAY TO WEDNESDAY, OFFICE HOURS
GROSS SALARY: 37,430 AFN (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
