The incumbent is responsible to assist the Regional Security Officer (RSO) in the day-to-day operational management of the Surveillance Detection team and programs. Supervises/coordinates the operational planning and deployment of the Surveillance Detection teams as directed by the RSO; serves as liaison with other agencies and offices at the post on Surveillance Detection (SD) matters and with host government security matters.

Education: Completion of secondary school (high school) is required.
Experience: Two years of military, police, or private experience in the field of security is required, with at least one year of prior supervisory experience.
Language: Level IV (fluent) speaking/reading in Pashto/Dari and level III (good working knowledge) in English is required.
Knowledge: Must possess a thorough knowledge of surveillance techniques, familiarity with normal traffic patterns, pedestrian behavior, travel routes, and must possess good personal skill and leadership skill
Abilities and Skills: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to manage the work of others in a team environment ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances without requesting guidance and strong organizational skills and Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required.
