Job Summary

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:

Under supervision of the Solution Development supervisor to perform the following responsibilities within the IT areas:


1. Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the IT Managers

2. New Systems and New Solutions:

- High Level Design,
- Low Level Design,
- Inter-dependencies identification,
- consistency checks

3. Recurrent Issues
- Review of the architecture and proposition of changes
- analyze impacts
- Complete and co/implement a configuration workbook

4. Architecture and Systems capacity Management
- Complete and co/implement a configuration workbook
- Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.
- Oversee consistency
- prepare budgeting inputs

5. Products and Service Development
o Co-team with the System Owners from Charging, VAS and Enterprise sections to produce a feasibility study document for custom development and systems integration requirements.
o Develop the products and services on test environments.
o Lead the UAT efforts.
o Deliver the developed P&S to system team to be launched on production environments.

6. Apliman and Huawei SDP/ Loyalty & CM Development:
o Supervise Development of new initiatives using SDP platforms (Apliman and Huawei)
o Supervise the needed configuration of the TechnoTree Loyalty system (Business rules, Conditions, Criteria and rewards).
o Support Marketing team with developing the Campaigns.

7. More than 8 years of experience in Telecom industry focusing on diverse VAS, Ericsson Packet Core and IN platforms.
8. In depth knowledge of GSM, IN, VAS and DATA call flows.
9. Proficient in Unix/Linux OS and bash scripting for automated system health checks and alarm escalation.
10. Expertise in various technologies and protocols including HTTP, Radius, Diameter SCAPv1, DCCA/SCAPv2, DCCA/Gy, CIP/IP, ERTC, UCIP, CAPv2, CAPv3, LDAP, MMSE, TCP/IP, RTSP, SMPP, SNMP, SS7, MAP, SIP, SIGTRAN etc.
11. Expertise in multi-vendor VAS platforms including:
Huawei: CRBT, SCG, PCRF,
Apliman: SDP, USSD, IVR, Collect Call.
Comviva: SMSC, Bulk SMS, USSD.
Tecnotree: CBS, WBS. LCMS, Care, Selfcare.
12. Ericsson: EMA, EMM, CS, VS, SDP, AIR, OCC, CCN, SGSN, GGSN, Mobile Money.
13. Multi-Vendor: E-Top UP (ERS, Seamless), ADD/ADC (INVIGO, Gemalto), ACS (nAirtime).
14. Planning, design and testing of new IN & VAS products and platforms.
15. Project Management skills and experience, technical understanding.
16. Strong problem-solving and analytical skill.
17. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
18. Structured and focused on delivering good quality on time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas:
Supporting Activities (Guidelines, not limited to): KPI
1. Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the IT Managers -Full understanding of IT processes flow and formalize all the related information with professional documentation to be used as reference for future use.
- For any new project or solution, the process flow should be reviews with system owners and managers to avoid any consistency problems.
-100% process flow documentation.




2. New Systems and New Solutions: - High Level Design and Low Level Design, Produce a detailed functional design documents to match customer requirements
- Inter-dependencies identification and how the new system can be integrated to other existing systems using the best practices and the optimal interfaces.
- Consistency checks to be performed before installing any new system. - provide design documents for 100 % of the new systems.


-100% compliance to IT best practices and standards




3. Recurrent tasks and issues:
- Review of the architecture and proposition of changes to be aligned with best practices.
- Analyze impacts and provide impact report on weekly basis to the line manager.
- -100% of current system to be aligned with best practices in regard of architecture.

- Weekly impact analyses report.


4. Architecture and Systems capacity Management:
- Complete and co/implement a configuration workbook, with the support of system owners
- Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.
- Provide Capacity report on weekly basis for all IT systems.
- Oversee consistency
- prepare budgeting inputs
- - 100% of the configuration information to be documented.

- Weekly capacity reporting
5. Products and Service Development
o Co-team with the System Owners from Charging, VAS and Enterprise sections to produce a feasibility study document for custom development and systems integration requirements.
o Develop the products and services on test environments.
o Lead the UAT efforts.
o Deliver the developed P&S to system team to be launched on production environments -provide 95% of feasibility studies on time


-provide 95% of Product and service on time

- 100 % of product and service to be provided with no quality matters.
- 100% of P&S to be tested with signed UAT.
6. Apliman and Huawei SDPs / Loyalty & CM Development o Supervise Development of new initiatives using SDP platforms (Apliman and Huawei)
o Supervise the needed configuration of the Apliman Loyalty system (Business rules, Conditions, Criterias and rewards).
o Support Marketing team with developing the Campaigns.
95% of new initiatives to be delivered on time.

Prepaid and Billing systems Manager, IT supervisors for operational tasks and service delivery



Decision Making


Decision making on day to day operations tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures and contextual instructions by the prepaid and Billing systems Manager and IT sr. Manager

Decision making on the implementation of solutions in accordance with systems operations guidelines and/ or after consulting Suppliers support organisations.

Job Requirements

PERSON RELATED INFORMATION
Minimum job-related educational qualification required

- Engineering diploma in IS or telecom.-
Minimum years relevant experience required for this position:

- 2 years of extensive experience in solution architect
- 2 year experience in product development

o Knowledge and experience with IT Service Management as promoted by set of best practices (ITIL, eTOM, COBIT) and certification will be highly recommended

o Leadership skills
o Good Reporting Skills

Technical competencies
o Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases

o Oracle administration certificate will be recommended
