To lead and supervise project staff reporting and planning, coordinate with other partners present in the KIS and ensure in camp and out camp networking forums are represented
The Team Leader holds overall responsibility for management of technical and community mobilization activities of the project planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation.
Supervision and monitoring of all project activities in daily basis
Provide technical support and feedback to the project social workers
Knowledge and skill of a good team builder
Facilitate and support the team to establish good relations with community leaders, community elders, and working and street, IDPs and returnees children s’ parents
Conducting meeting with the team in weekly and monthly basis
Support the team to develop action plan in weekly and monthly basis
Support the team to prepare narrative report in weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Translation of project document from English to Local language and from Local language to English.
Building the capacity of project staff on child rights, child protection and social work skills
With the assistance of the Program coordinator follow-up training questionnaires identifying the extent to which training objectives have been met
Prepare the documentation of all training conducted
Attending to all project related meetings and proper minutes
Representing STARS in the meetings, workshops and events
Support the team to mobilize the resource and service providers in the area
Maintain close professional relationships and liaisons with local service organizations in the target area
Facilitate and conduct awareness raising activities with parents, community leaders and the working children on the rights of the children and on safety issues related to the work environment
Providing immediate protection for children at risks, through case management and resource mobilization
Education: Bachelor degree from related faculty
Experience: At least two or three years of leading social work and staff with National or International organizations or Afghan Government is required. Knowledge and skill of conducting survey. Knowledge and skill of case management, referral, networking and follow up
Computer skill: The best candidate should have good knowledge of MS Office Package (word, excel, power Point and internet)
Language skills: The successful applicant will be fluent in spoken and written English and Dari
Skills and abilities: Should be able to communicate well in a professional working environment and must be able to organize his/her daily tasks properly and ability to work during the night
