Job Summary

Technician of checking Feed Mill a Boustan-e- Sabz Agriculture Services's position 

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Familiar with chicken feed formula (starter, grower and finisher);

2. Ensure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill;

3. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks;

4. Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff;

5. Assist in maximizing the efficiency of the mill;

6. Work with employees to identify and address ingredient flow issues;

7. Ensure that company safety practices are adhered to;

8. Receive ingredients into the mill, both bulk and bagged;

9. Conduct grading of ingredients received;

10. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in operation of feed mill that grinds grain and mixes feed to customer's specifications;

11. May operate grinders and auxiliary equipment to grind and mix feed;

12. May purchase supplies and equipment and keep financial records.

13. May manage commercial feed store in conjunction with mill; and

14. Performs other duties instructed to reporting manager.

7. Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance;

8. Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one;

9. Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others;

10. Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes;

11. Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions;

12. Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work and identifying the best people for the job;

13. Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods;

14. Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance; and

15. Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.


•   At least 5 years till 10 years of working experience in Feed Mill.

•   Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.

•   Strong verbal and written skills in local and English languages, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.

•   Excellent inter-personal, communication, networking and negotiating skills;

•   Fluent English-language speaking and writing skills;

•   Knowledge of organizational policies/regulations and procedures relating to the position

•   Ability and willingness to travel, and

•   Produce quality and high impact reports with great level of accuracy and attention to details
