The Track Controller is expected to maintain the organization of the Transportation Yard in accordance with the Parking and Utilization Plan. The Track Controller will interact with Maintenance to ensure that vehicles requiring maintenance are available for the Maintenance Supervisor. The Truck Controller will also be responsible for maintaining the good order and cleanliness of the yard. Crane operations, wash rack operations, and the supply container will also be his responsibility. The Track Controller expected to keep the Traffic Manager and Transportation Supervisor apprised of emerging issues. The Track Controller will work very closely with Mission Preparation, Mission Closure, the Fuelling Coordinator, Maintenance, and drivers.
Trucking Controller has to prepare the drivers before RLD and RDD
2. Trucking Controller has to communicate with finance about mission clearance
3. Trucking controller has to provide available drivers list every day.
4. Trucking controller has talk with drivers and advises them to turn on their cell phones and transponders.
5. Trucking controller should provide Available trucks elsewhere.
6. Trucking Controller has to have their trucks to do more missions.
7. Trucking controller has to take care of their drivers while they are on mission, if the driver run out of money he should report it to the operation Support Section immediately in order to send him the mission money
8. Trucking Controllers informing responsible department for action taking whenever his driver needs help & facing with problems.
9. Trucking Controllers are walking around to each Dept for their driver issue plus sending of official Email if it is serious.
10. Trucking controller has to attend in 08:30 Meeting every day and discuss Assigning of trucks for mission daily with one of representatives from Operations and Expat.
11. Each Trucking Controller has responsibility of 53 trucks & 53 Drivers
12. Daily taking physically Yard report & updating the status of trucks.
13. Calling the drivers & asking them for their mission process & searching for their trucks in SAP for their exact locations and keep inform Operations whenever drivers are reporting regarding the RM Remission) RT etc….
14. Solving all issues of the drivers with all responsible departments such as Finance, Operations, Closure, Finance and Security on the time which requiring.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Must be literate in both spoken and written local languages;
High School graduate; DBA degree preferable.
Minimum 2-3 years in Fleet and Transpiration Management.
English language skills are not required, but preferred;
Basic knowledge of and skill to use Microsoft Office and e-mail are not required, but preferred;
Must have good organizing skills;
Must be physically fit enough to walk the truck yard, to lift and carry 30 kg. Special physical needs cannot be accommodated.
