Job Summary

• The incumbent will have the overall responsibility to translate variety of materials from English to Dari or vice versa
• Mainly concentrates on translation of contracts, licenses, procedures, policies, and other legal documents.
• Translate Operational Documents.
• Translate the TV documentaries, TV spots and Radio spots.
• Translate legal documents and official letters.
• Translate advertisement’s texts.
• Proof reading and editing

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure normal operation of translation from English to Dari and vice versa of the following documents;
• Press Releases
• TV documentaries, TV spots and Radio spots
• Posters and Banners
• SMSs
• Various types of contracts, Proposals and polices
• Different types of governmental letters.
• AWCC website
• the translator must have the ability to translate in both languages (Dari & English) without changing the fundamental meaning of the text.
• The translator must be able to translate the marketing content in advertisement tone

Job Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in the field of legal, Journalism and literature or any other related field with  international organizations experience is preferred.
• At least (5) years’ experience as English to Dari and Dari to English translation.
• Full command on English and Dari languages.
• Excellent ability in understanding, reading and writing.
• The incumbent should be punctual.
• Should be honest.
• Should be flexible.
• Should meet the deadline.
• Willingness to work late hours (If required)

• Computer skills
• Good Typing skills
• Internet surfing
• Knowledge of Office package
• Good communication skills
