Job Summary

Translators / Interpreters are required to provide effective and concise translation in support of the U.S and Coalition Forces to train the Afghan National Army by developing the Literacy Program in above mentioned provinces of Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Professional translation/interpretation of military documents, briefings, reports, classes, etc from English to both Dari and Pashto verbal and written translation and vice versa.
• Verbal translation between Afghan National Army officials.
• Provide translation in official seminars, meetings, conferences.
• Setting up appointments and visits with Afghan National Army officials.

Job Requirements

• Experience in English – Dari / Pashto Translation (preferred)
• Excellent reading and writing skills in English and Dari
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Dari and Pashto skills
• Strong communication and cross-cultural skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
