Criminal Justice Task Force (CJTF), Multi Location
The Transport supervisor of CJTF is responsible for the effective management of the transportation and provision of support and technical assistance to CJTF Director of Administration and other stakeholders.
The incumbent will work as a member of the CJTF administration directorate under the direct supervision of the Director of Administration.
Summary of duties:
• Ensuring efficient and effective day to day transportation services.
• Supporting and working closely with the Director of Administration and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth running of CJTF.
Key responsibilities
• Performs full range of supervisory duties
• Receives transportation requests from eligible staff and dispatches the drivers.
• Arranges pick up and drop times and routes according to organization’s work hours.
• Assists drivers with staff problems.
• Inspects vehicles for damage and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensures vehicles are equipped with required tools and etc.
• Observes driving skills and behaviour of the drivers.
• Responds to problems in the field such as vehicle accident.
• Updates fuel consumption records, vehicle repairs and accident if take place.
• Analyzes staff and organization needs and makes recommendations for implementation and improvement of transportation services.
• Follows the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Ensures the punctuality of drivers and staff.
• Coordinates purchase requests and oversee the purchasing process for the unit.
• Prepares weekly and monthly statistical and narrative reports.
• At least 1 year of experience in organizing transportation activities and 2 years of other clerical combinations administrative or logistical experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Kabul city geographic layout knowledge.
• Transportation dispatching skills and knowledge.
• Kabul Traffic department’s rules and regulations knowledge.
• Vehicle service and maintenance procedures knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of personal management and effective supervision.
• Strong communication skill.
• Effective decision making skills.
• Computer literate (Knowledge of Ms-word, Ms-excel and Internet).
• Ability and skills of producing written documents both in English and Dari.
• Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a driver's license and drive if required.
