The primary goal of this position is to be successful in teaching 16 – 18 year old orphan girls the skills and subjects required to pass the University Entrance exam. PARSA has hand selected the girls who are eligible for this course and who WANT to attend college. They will have the full support of their families and the Orphan officials. Hours of work will be as follows:
Saturday through Weds: 2:00 – 6:00 (at Orphanage)
Thursday: 8:00 to 4:00 ( at PARSA offices)
Student Assessments to determine education level
Teaching Classes and subjects as scheduled
Keeping accurate attendance
Correcting lessons
Assigning homework
Assisting Students with course work, working one on one with individual Students as needed
Preparing reports for classes and activities
Being a strong leader and roll model for the Students
Working with PARSA’s Education Director and Education Staff
Attending teacher training as scheduled
Working with PARSA’s Healthy Afghan Child Program as a “Good Parentâ€
University Teaching Certification
2 – 5 years of teaching experience
Understanding of the requirements for test required to enter University
