Founded in 2013, Afghanistan Broadcasting System (ABS) is the only licensed Afghan company to provide Digital Television (DTV) throughout Afghanistan and to facilitate the ITU mandated switchover from analog to digital broadcasting. Headquartered in Kabul, ABS has regional offices from which it will focus on rolling-out the DTT network and DTH service across the country. Through its branded Oqaab platform, ABS is offering a mix of Afghan and soon premium international TV channels in areas, where no terrestrial reception was offered before.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Voice Over Artist-Pashto. The Voice Over Artist responsibility is to perform with multiple tones of voice and with various accents in many roles, including providing narratives in commercial and promotional video production, digital advertising or video.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Voice over artist must be able to convey the right type of message, with real feelings and emotions in order to make it believable
• Looking for a voice over artist with pleasant voice, good expression and solid microphone techniques
• Able to speak in multiple tones of voice and with various accents
• The ability to speak clearly and with a pleasing voice is essential
• Voice over artist must be able to read from scripts in a natural, conversational way
• Voice over artist also are responsible for maintaining their voices. have good communication and presentation skills
• Writing the script for the short voice overs
• Any other duty assigned by the Head of department

Job Requirements

• At least 4 years’ experience in a TV channel or Media Production house as a voice over artist (dubbing artist) or channel voice is a must!

• Excellent knowledge of writing, reading and speaking Pashto and English
• Proper and suitable accents for voice characters
• Clear pronunciation
• Experience in writing short voice over texts for promos
• Under graduate or University degree.
